POEROIL Light and Heavy Liquid Paraffins and Technical Grade White Oils are manufactured from selected base oils at APAR’S state of the art White Oil plant at it’s  Lube Blending Plants at Rabale, Thane and  Silvassa .

Apar’s  present capacity is 18,000 KL per annum of Light and Heavy Liquid Paraffins and 40,000 KL per annum of White Oils .

PHARMACEUTICAL & FOOD GRADE LIQUID PARAFFINS

POWEROIL Light and Heavy Liquid Paraffins are high purity U.S.P / E.P / I.P   Standard Grade White mineral oils of wide viscosity range. They are  colourless ,  odourless ,  versatile because of their inert characteristics and are  produced from low pour point severely  hydrotreated base oils that meet the extreme purity requirements of the U.S.P / E.P / I.P Standards thus ensuring the absence of any significant sulphur , oxygen , halogen derivatives , unsaturated substances and carcinogenic aromatics. They meet the stringent requirements of US FDA 21 CFR 172.878 & 21 CFR 178 3620 (a) .

These Liquid Paraffins are widely used in infinite number of applications which include medical formulations , ointments , laxatives , repository vaccines , hair oils , hair creams , cosmetics , facial creams and lotions , gelatin capsules , food preservatives, protective coatings for fruits and vegetables , veterinary preparations , egg preservatives  and as secondary plasticizer in plastic and petrochemical industry.  

TECHNICAL GRADE WHITE OILS
 
POWEROIL Technical Grade White Oils find extensive usage in textile industry for non staining lubrication , incense – perfume manufacture , plastic , paper and cosmetic industries and several oil based formulations , lotions , shoe polish and petroleum jelly manufacturing industries. They meet the requirements of US FDA 21 CFR 178 3620 ( b ).

These Liquid Paraffins and White Oils are also exported to many countries like Sri Lanka,  Kenya , Tanzania , Singapore , Malaysia , Syria , Bangla Desh , Nepal , Middle East and European countries.
