Poweroil Light and Heavy Liquid Paraffins and Technical Grade White Oils are manufactured at APAR's state-of-art White Oil plant at its Special Oils Refinery, Mumbai. Additional manufacturing facilities are also available for white oils at Rabale-, Thane and Silvassa Plants.

Apar's present capacity is 18000 KL per annum of Light and Heavy Liquid Paraffins from its Mumbai plant and 40000 KL per annum of White Oils from its Mumbai, Thane and Silvassa Plants.

Poweroil Light and Heavy Liquid Paraffins are deeply refined extremely high purity I.P. Grade White Mineral Oils of wide viscosity range, colourless, odourless, versatile because of their inert characteristics, produced from low pour point highly hydrotreated base oils meeting the extreme purity requirements of Indian Pharmacopoeia, ensuring the absence of any significant sulphur, nitrogen, oxygen, halogen derivatives, unsaturated substances and carcinogenic aromatics.

These liquid paraffins are widely used in infinite number of applications which include medical formulations, ointments, laxatives, respository vaccines, hair oils, hair creams, cosmetics, facial creams and lotions, gelatine capsules, protective coatings for fruits and vegetables, veterinary preparations, egg preservatives, textile auxiliaries and as secondary plasticizer in plastic and petrochemical industry.

Poweroil technical grade white oils find extensive usage in textile industry for nonstaining lubrication, incense-perfume manufacture, plastic, paper and cosmetic industries and several oil based formulations, lotions, shoe polish and petroleum jelly manufacturing industries.

They are also exported to many countries like Sri Lanka, Kenya, Tanzania, Singapore, Malaysia, Syria, Bangla Desh, Nepal and the Middle East.
